The Geely is a plug-in hybrid electric vehicle with a 1.5-liter three-cylinder turbocharged petrol engine paired with an electric motor. It is powered by the 5.50L engine found under the hood of the current Proton X1, but thanks to the PHEV system, power output, and fuel efficiency have been greatly improved. Power has been increased from the current 177hp to 255hp and torque has risen to 415Nm from the current 255Nm! Moreover, the fuel consumption of this Geely Binyue is as low as 83km/l! Under the right conditions, the Binyue ePro can travel up to 85 kilometers on pure electric power.

Visually, it has some new color options called Storm Blue, Heat Flame Red, and Lightning White, as well as a sporty 2-tone paint finish, lots of contrasting black panels, a massive spoiler, and a massive 18-inch alloy.
Inside, the PHEV version will feature some unique animations on its digital instrument cluster, but will otherwise be very similar to the full-spec standard petrol model. Electric adjustable driver’s seat (6-way), PM2.5 air purification system with a negative ion generator, and mixed leather fabric interior. Just like other facelifted Binyue models, the latest version of GKUI features a 12.3-inch infotainment screen. A full 3D camera, DVR and all the latest advanced driver assistance systems will be there in their current form.
